Happy ending to a long day

I had a dog years ago that in my rush to get off to work, got closed in my bedroom. Christy never gave me a problem chewing, so we could only think that she chewed that day because of being locked up.

She had chewed the cord to the alarm clock and the electricity burned her mouth so bad that I could smell it coming in the door that afternoon.

The Doctor had to remove half of her tongue and a lot of her cheek. Then several days later, he had to remove several teeth and gum. Everyone was so surprised that she was alive. She lived another 6 years.
