WHERE CAN I CHECK A VET'S REFERENCES?
"Does anyone have ideas on how to check a vet's references? We
recently moved to a new state and I'm trying to find a good vet
for my pets. I went to one yesterday, a D.V.M, but was disappointed
that he never examined my dog like previous vets did (temperature,
look in the ears, eyes, mouth, feel the abdomen, etc.)." TAZSI

A RED "BULLSEYE" ON MY DOG'S BELLY!
"I just discovered a red "bullseye" on my dog's belly! I also
just red a vet web site that emphatically states this IS NOT how
lyme disease presents itself in canines. Well, then WHAT DOES

"I'm almost at the end of my first year and all I can say is
that it has flown by SO fast. Being older gives you that perspective
on time. I thought it seemed endless at the beginning, but I can

Wow! I'm thrilled to have found this site and all the valuable
information and friends here. Whatever advice you guys can offer
on my question(s) will be GREATLY appreciated. Since I am disabled,
I have limited funds to utilize for vet bills. In spite of that, I
do try to find the best treatment I can for the animals as they are
"family members" also. I'm interested in holistic and natural remedies
and also post-trauma animal rehab. Hope my experiences will be of
