Why Is My Dog Freaking Out?

Wednesday September 15, 2004
DAVISQT asks:"My 4 year old English Springer Spaniel has this weird habit of freaking out at night. She has in and out privileges. This last week, she woke me from a dead sleep by essentially body slamming herself against my wall/window. I calmed her down and decided that I'd have better luck sleeping in the living room, which I did. Last night, she started jumping at my window before I'd even fallen asleep. After ignoring her for a half hour, she quit. Why is she exhibiting this weird behavior? Is there anything I can do to prevent it?"
