Unlike other pet health insurance companies, Petsecure's Secure For Life™ guarantee offers comprehensive, lifetime coverage with innovative benefits:
- Every 12 months, the policy limit renews automatically-to the same limit. With Petsecure, pets will be insured for life as there are no life-time caps.
- Each condition is insured to the maximum limit. If the pet needs multiple treatments for multiple conditions, each condition is insured separately-and the insurance limit is still renewed every year.
- As the pet ages, insurance premiums will not increase based on the pet's age. This means that aging pets, with age-related conditions, will always be covered. Only deductibles increase as the pet ages. Therefore, policyholders will pay more-only if a claim is made.
- Unique dental coverage allows pet parent's to have routine dental care for their pet each and every year with no waiting period.
In our commitment to the pet community, Petsecure participates in as many charitable events, fundraising programs, and educational initiatives as possible. Each year our Member Advisory Panel helps elect important pet organizations and direct our decisions about the individual pet people who need our help most.
Our People
We employ over 100 pet people who are dedicated to assuring that we will always provide a sincere, straightforward and speedy response to any inquiry. Our Claims and Underwriting Department is assisted by our Chief Veterinary Officer and staffed with Animal Health Technicians who have at least three years' veterinary practice experience and our Territory Managers have previous experience in the veterinary profession (usually Animal Health Technicians) and serve as a product and practice resource for the Canadian veterinary community.
Our Company
As Canada's oldest and largest pet health insurance company we offer stability and a proven track record. We are also the only pet insurance provider in Canada that underwrites its own policies as we are a federally regulated P&C insurance company. All other pet insurance providers in Canada operate as brokers using a 3rd party to underwrite their policies. Being our own underwriter provides us with complete control and allows for a seamless customer experience.
