9) Does your vet agree with this feeding choice? Is your vet helpful and knowledgeable about the BARF diet?
This question brought forth the most varied responses. I have highlighted a few here, showing the [perceived] range of acceptance and knowledge of the viewer's vets. My personal thought/recommendation is to always discuss diet and dietary changes with your vet, as nutrition plays a part in every aspect of health.

"I use 3 different vets, depending on needs, although my dogs in fact see a vet VERY rarely. However, I have only discussed this at length with one, who also feeds this to his own dogs. The other two vets are probably not so enlightened, and in fact make money from selling commercial diets, so I would not expect them to understand, sadly.
