This is question six of a six-part interview with Geoff Tucker DVM, horse vet and dentist. Each question is featured here and each answer is (loosely) transcribed from Dr. Tucker's video response. At the end of each question, please visit the link to see the entire video response.

Question 6: What types of pets do you have?

Answer: I have no pets. I am their pet. I sit, rollover, play dead, feed them, clean up after them -- I am definitely the pet, they are the boss. I have had many many dogs, cats and horses in my life, even a rabbit and birds.

We had a Greyhound and a rabbit who used to cuddle up together. Go figure. That was one of the rescue ones. I have always gone to the pound and gotten a dog, found them on the road or rescued them from a neighbor.

A couple of years ago when my son left for college, and we had two dogs and a cat die, all within 2 months, the house became very quiet. I said it's time to get a couple of Airedales. The best dogs ever. We have three cats and of course the horses. We have had as many as 20 horses on our farm, now we have two.
