Last week, my husband brought Kelsey into Manhattan to pick us up at Penn Station. The transformation in her was astounding. Seven months ago she was a dog that was frightened walking down a quiet, suburban street. In the city, she sashayed her way down the street, nose working like crazy, tail gently swinging from side to side. Looking like just a regular dog. But to this family, she is a miracle.
