I first met Terri Marks DVM in 2008 - my first Westminster show. She came to the rescue after the video 'props' (toothpaste and toothbrush) were mysteriously missing from the video producer's bag. Dr. Marks saved the day with dog toothbrush and toothpaste and her Mastiff Bo, who was a great sport and star in the How To Brush Your Dog's Teeth video on about.com.
We have met every year since then, first with Mastiffs and now with French Bulldogs. Here are the interviews with Dr. Marks and stories about her dogs over the years.

Terri Marks DVM
This is the 5th year that Dr. Terri Marks and I have met at the Westminster dog show. We met in 2008, when she was showing her Mastiff, Kubota (Bo for short). Kubota is also the star of the how to brush your dog's teeth and how to give a dog a pill videos on this site. This year, we meet up again; Sherman and Porter the French Bulldogs are in the ring.
2. Meet Porter the French Bulldog

At six months of age, Terri began showing Porter. He did well and loved the show ring. At 8.5 months of age, Porter began to limp. There was no known history of illness or injury. Terri brought him in to her hospital and took radiographs (x-rays), finding... nothing. Terri admits feeling frustrated, not being able to diagnose why Porter was limping, but no problem, that is what veterinary specialists are for. Off they went...

This spotlight is on Bo, a Mastiff who was mauled by his father at 10 months and was adopted by a veterinarian, Terri Marks, who rehabilitated Bo and is now showing him at Westminster. (2008)
