Week 22 Progress Report

We finally got to start on the Hill's d/d® Salmon and Potato, which the dogs seemed to like a lot. Come to think of it, they seem to like just about any kind of food. The switch to the new food went smoothly. I put the dogs back down to once a day dosing of prednisone after just three days of twice a day prednisone last week. Simba’s sores cleared up and he was looking really good, and was much less itchy. Asia was much less itchy, but had patchy red areas on her belly off an on. Bathing seemed to help a bit, and still, the dogs were doing so much better than they had been prior to re-starting the prednisone it was a real relief. Their other medications also ran out toward the end of this week, and it was such a relief to only have to give one pill a day!
