Personal Message: I became a veterinarian to help people and animals help each other. I think that we have a special responsibility to take care of and try to speak for those gentler creatures that cannot speak for themselves. I am honored to join About.com and to add my voice to help us understand the special gifts that animals, especially our pets, give us. I hope that I can also listen and respond to you try to express the loss we all feel when we lose a pet, as well as to help you talk about the decisions in the life of your pet that you feel most consistent given your personal circumstances and advice of your Veterinarian. I would also love to hear the wonderful stories you would like to share about YOUR special animal members of your family.
