The Neighborhood Hangout

Hello...I am retired from 30 yrs. of teaching school and live in the neighborhood of an elementary, middle school and a high school...When a dog shows up on any school campus the pound must be called and the animal picked up. Now the teachers will bring them and put them in my fenced yard. Any neighborhood animal that does not come home for dinner is probably spending the afternoon with me.

Delighted owners now check my yard before calling the pound. One little poodle named Jello and a little black mutt named Snickers call my back yard their second home. My reward is seeing the smiles of kids when they find their pets.
