Wants to be a Veterinaire? UPDATE TO THIS FEATURE The television game show, "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire", is a trivia game where the player answers questions in hopes of winning a million dollars. I shy away from using the term "trivia", because it sounds so...well, trivial. You never know when information may come in handy. Especially medical information. That is how the production of "Who Wants To Be A Veterinaire" at the About.com Vet Medicine site came into being. Ok, so I made up the word, "Veterinaire". One good thing about making up a word is that you can also make up a definition. For our purposes, let's say that it is a noun, meaning a "veterinary knowledge buff". Being a Veterinaire challenges knowledge, enhances memory, and just may be useful some day. It's that little medical factoid that helps solve the puzzling case or urges a pet owner to seek medical attention sooner than they normally would that will make a Veterinaire proud. For example, if you know that Tylenol can be fatal to a cat, you will tell your neighbor not to give their cat this common pain reliever when their cat seems painful. Are you ready?
