Containing the Spread of Hoof & Mouth Disease

This is an incredibly transmisible disease. Our concern should extend beyond just foot baths.  What about the cell phones, laptops, purses, backpacks and such that we carry when traveling - not to mention our mode of transportation as a possible factor. It is entirely posssible to spread this highly contagious & economically devastating disease without being aware of it. It will be an incredibly difficult problem to solve - if we can solve it. It threatens the economy on a global scale.
