Anipryl® (selegiline hydrochloride, also known as L-deprenyl) may help some geriatric dogs and cats experiencing age-related dementia. This drug is also used for treatment of Cushing's Disease, or Hyperadrenocorticism in dogs. In humans, selegiline is used for treatment of Parkinson's disease (trade name, Eldepryl®).
