Correct!

Trichuriasis is a whipworm (Trichuris vulpis) infection. In minor infections, no signs are seen. In heavier infections, animals show weight loss, diarrhea, and eventually fresh blood in the stool and anemia. The eggs of this worm are passed in the feces, and can live in a moist environment for up to 5 years. The eggs do dry out quickly in a dry environment.
