Correct!
A "Frizzle"
is a breed of chicken.
The Frizzle looks like it went through a wash cycle and forgot to preen its feathers afterward! These permanently fluffy chickens have very unique feathers that turn upward and outward, giving this chicken a "frizzle-y" look all of the time.
The frizzling effect is actually a genetic modification that can be produced in any breed of chicken, but it is also listed in the Poultry Standard as a separate breed. Learn more about the Frizzle chicken here. Lots of Frizzle photos can be seen on The Feather Site, a popular poultry reference site.
While we are talking
chickens (one of my favorite subjects!), I have to share a link to a book I
just found on the Internet. Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with the seller
or author. I have not read this book or even seen it in person, but after finding
this in a web search, I have it on my wish list. The cover alone would be worth
it:

You Callin' Chicken?
