Roque...An Amazing story of Adoption
Roque was happily adopted from a shelter,
despite having a case of heartworm disease.

Roque was due to be euthanized, but the humane society had some open pens so he transferred there. During his physical, his heartworm test came out positive. The German Shorthair Ponter rescue was called, but they did not have room so he was again to be euthanized. That day, I received a call from a lady in Detroit wanting to adopt this 1 1/2 yr old boy....
