iatrogenic = disease seen as a result of treatment given (i.e.
overdose, chronic administration of a drug, misdiagnosis/incorrect
treatment, etc.).
From your Guide:
Briefly, Cushing's Disease is an excess of cortisol, Addison's
disease is the lack of cortisol production. Iatrogenic Addison's
disease may be seen after treatment for Cushing's Disease.
Iatrogenic Cushing's Disease may be seen with long-term, high
doses of cortisone given to a patient.
