This is Abby, our Chow. We got her about 6 years ago when she was 1 1/2 years old from a friend who bred Chows. He couldn't part with the first litter of puppies, so he had 7 dogs. Abby was "attacked" by the other dogs, and needed a home where she was the only dog and could receive some individual attention. She tolerates our 3 sons and has adjusted very nicely to our home.
