Doc is healthy and sassy. He thinks he's a dog. He even played fetch when he was a kitten. He greets people at the door and he follows me from room to room. He loves to hang out with me in my office while I'm working on my site.

Dylan has been diabetic for nearly three years. He's hanging in there, but not doing so well right now because he hasn't adjusted to any other insulin since the beef/pork type became scarce on the market.

Both cats are 12ish. They were rescued from the local SPCA. I picked Dylan, but Doc picked me. He was up on a ladder in the large pen and everyone was calling to him, but he ignored them all. My friend said, "what about that one, he's cute." I said "here kitty," and he raced over to me to tell me he wanted to be my cat. Doc is the social one and Dylan is a bit more aloof. Dylan adopted my husband as his most favorite human even though I had him for over a year before I met Gary!
