ABCs OF DISEASE
Introducing a new area to the site - a disease index for
dogs and cats. You can now locate specific disease information
by alphabetical listing or by body system/disease type.
This is a work-in-progress, with many more diseases to be
added soon. Other species (horses, exotics, and more) will also
be added in the coming weeks.

THE CASE OF THE RECURRING SCAB
"My cat was treated over a year ago for what the vet called
an old wound. He sedated my cat and cleaned up the area by
cutting away the scab. The scab later fell off, but reformed
thereafter and continues to do so. Is this something to worry
