THE WEB IS WONDERFUL BUT...
Nothing can take the place of a thorough "real life"
veterinary examination. Peek inside the e-mail bag
this week to see how the Internet can help pets and
vets find solutions to health problems.

SENIOR CAT WITH CANCER - NEED ADVICE
"This morning we received the diagnosis from the scope -
she has cancer. I have two questions. The first is that
she is very weak. She seems to be getting weaker over the
last two days - since I brought her back from the vet. Is
this normal? The second question is the tough one we have
to face when our pets get older, "Am I doing the right
thing for her?" TOM34STANGL

AUGUST FEATURED PRACTICES
Tour vet clinics and around the world. Included in
this month's tour is the veterinary practice of

DOES BEING A VET ASSISTANT HELP?
"I was wondering if you get qualified to be a veterinary
assistant, do veterinary schools take this into consideration
and give you credit for it?" KITTENCNDY

----------------------------------------------
TWICE HOOKED
"I have a Shih Tzu has hookworms for the second time.
What other effects can hookworms have (besides death)
if undetected for a length of time? Can neuropathy
develop from the toxins in the bloodstream?" DONULRICH
