PRE-VET FORUM: "OLDER" BUT WISER
"I'm back at the kennel where I spent 12 years previous &
even though I move a little slower than the 20 year olds,
I know that my years have given me an appreciation for
what I really want to do & that is to get back into a
vet clinic. It consists of hard work, lots of grief,
long hours and low pay (compared to other fields); but
the rewards are far beyond the drawbacks. So to all
you "oldsters" out there, keep plugging along! It is
worth it no matter how long it takes if it is truly
what you want!"

FROM THE FORUM - PARAKEET HERNIA
"Has anyone ever heard of a parakeet having a hernia...
mine does, according to my vet. He's an avian specialist
and I really trust him so I believe it's true but would
love to find some more info on it. Please help!!"

or pet travel stories. See the tour article for details.
