LIVING WITH CANCER
"Josh has just been diagnosed with a tumor the size of an orange in
his gut. We love the dog and would like to have him around enjoying
life for as long as we can. The tumor is inoperative and we will not
consider chemo or radiation as this would not add to his enjoyment
of time. Is there some alternative options or medicine/herbs that
would be helpful?" ALIENDREG

COULD SHE BE EXPECTING??!
"She had been an inside/outside dog up until her heat-she was let
out on her 'cable' a few times while we were outside feeding horses
etc...there is a possibility a neighbor's dog came to visit her.
She has seemed to gain some weight lately and her teats seem to have
changes both in the way they look and if you feel them they seem to
have what feels like a 'lump' under each one. Does this sound at all
like we may be expecting pups?" TIGSBUDDI

THE CALLING OF VETERINARI-HOOD
"I recognized the calling of veterinari-hood hiding beneath the
layers and layers of soul searching job-related questions that
plague all college students. I'm looking for a serious internship
or veterinary job over the summer, preferably in Boston, Washington DC,
Virginia Beach (VA) or Louisville, Kentucky. Interest in other programs
would fluctuate somewhat with the relative cost of housing, but I am
interested in any and all programs, both in a veterinary office and in
research programs. Any advice?" GLEEEMONEX
