Note: FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease) is a newer term to discuss a variety urinary problems seen in cats. The older terminology for this condition is FUS (Feline Urinary Syndrome). These terms are still used interchangeably, but FLUTD is now the preferred terminology.
