Guide Review - Princess Fiona: My Purrsonal Story

This book is based on a true story about the life and times of "Princess Fiona" an abandoned Siamese kitten. The story is told from the view of Princess Fiona herself, and she has a lot to say! She tells readers about cat rescue, fostering, and adoption with a good dose of humor along the way. This is a sweet story without being syrupy -- realistic, but fun too.

About.com Cats Guide, Franny Syufy, writes an informative forward for this book. Syufy addresses some of the more difficult issues, such as rescue, adoption, euthanizing unwanted animals, and the importance of spaying and neutering.

This book would make an excellent gift for friends and family members of all ages. It is 52 pages, but there are photos on almost every page, and it is a quick read. This book is a nice gift/coffee table book or children's story book. It is also a gift that gives -- all profits from this book go directly to rescuing more abandoned cats! A great reason to buy this book.
