Question About Drooling Rabbit

Wednesday April 16, 2008
DEACON9 asks: "My sweet,8 year old, rabbit has Ptyalism... drooling. My vet said his teeth are fine and the drooling is a stomach problem. He told me to give my rabbit Mylanta. It has not helped. Although I clean him often, his fur is wet and matted. Any advice would be appreciated. Note: He is eating."

My rabbit is suffering the same problem and I got the same advice from the vet. I would like to know what the other possibilities and treatment are.
