Furosemide, more commonly known by the trade name Lasix®, is a frequently used medication in both dogs and cats and is a cornerstone in the treatment of congestive heart failure in veterinary medicine.
Pets that take this medication will urinate more. You may also notice increased thirst and lethargy, among other signs.
