Review: Kit4Cat Urine Collection Cat Litter

Kit4Cat is Hydrophobic Litter Box Sand, which is a fancy way of saying "water repellant cat litter." This sounds counter-intuitive, with all of the super clumping and non-tracking litters available, but this litter provides a way to collect urine for analysis.

Unlike other non-absorbent materials traditionally used for this purpose, sand is a more natural litter box material. Most cats will use this substrate readily. Urine is then easily suctioned up with the enclosed pipette.
