Today, in celebration of Adopt the Internet day, I share a few stories of my adopted pets and why I have chosen to foster Greyhounds awaiting a forever home.
The Adopt the Internet focus is to bring awareness not only to adoptions, but to many ways to help animals find homes, even if you do not have the time or space to adopt.
Donations of your time, cash, or supplies (food, cat litter) are always welcome. Start simple: Shelters can always use a hand walking dogs and petting cats. Fostering is also encouraged for animals who would benefit.
In this article, meet Sophie, Argos and Barnie, pictured at right, and how they arrived at my door.

Giving an animal even a temporary home does all the parties involved good. The animal benefits from the human interaction and the human benefits from the unconditional love. Thanks for the post.
