Keeping our pets safe
Pet safety encompasses so many topics. Pets, even the most well-mannered ones, can be unpredictable and find themselves in need of assistance now and then.
We must watch what our pet eats, where they go, what they step on, climb in, try to catch (i.e. skunks), and keep them safe, in all kinds of weather.
Learning about pet safety
For many household situations, we inherently know what is safe or toxic. Other times, such as xylitol toxicity, we may not. Pets surprise us, too. Like when a cat climbs into a dryer or a puppy licks the paper shredder.
I created the Pet Safety Tips archive to increase awareness and help people avoid learning pet safety tips the hard way.
Show and Tell Us About Your Pet Safety Tip
Do you have a pet safety tip to share with viewers? See what others have to say, then share your pet safety tip, including photos of why your safety tip works to keep pets safe. Sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words.

I got my indoor cats micro chipped. I wasn’t going to do it, but I read an article that it may become mandatory in the near future. I feel better that I got them micro chipped.
