I recently tried out the DAP (Dog Appeasing Pheromone) calming collar for dogs on my own dog, Sophie. She loves people and is generally a calm, well-behaved dog. This photo is of Sophie on a regular day, before trying DAP. She is an easy-going dog. Except when there are loud noises. Then she is trembling, panting, whining and trying to hide in small spaces. We also deal with mild separation anxiety. I wasn't sure DAP would work, but gave it a two week trial. Here is my review of the DAP dog collar.

The Dogs Trust ran a trial looking at kennel stress and the effect of DAP. They found it was so good they now fit one to every dog that comes in.

Kita our 4 year old Lab has always been fine with noises being leaves for while ect but not fireworks or thunder. Until now.. I had to go away for wrk for 5days n while away they had a thunderstorm.. Since then she trembles, panting, shaking n cries. Won’t go out for walks or go in garden.. Started the DAP collar today so fingers crossed.. Thx for ur advice on ur own dog..
