I have a parrot. Can I use the Feliway Diffuser?

Birds are known for their very sensitive respiratory systems. Will feline pheromone air diffuser, Feliway, be safe to use in this situation? This FAQ was inspired by a viewer question that I didn't know the answer to, so I called Farnam, the manufacturer of Feliway, to find out.
