Dog Injured While Boarding At The Vet's Office

TMR7171 asks: "My Dachshund returned from being kenneled for the weekend with what we thought was an injury to her leg. When I picked her up on Monday evening, the vet told me that the girl that comes in to take the dogs out had called him to tell him that Abbey was limping. The x-rays showed that she had at least 1 and possibly 2 ruptured disks. I was very upset but did not want to point fingers at the technician that took care of her over the weekend. I love my vet but he did not offer to help with the bill or take responsibility for any of this. I am so worried that Abbey might have to have the back surgery and I can not afford this, do you have any suggestions on how to handle this?"
