Kitten Trying to Nurse... Me!

Friday June 27, 2008
GRANNYFRANNYCATS418M asks: "The kitten I rescued two weeks ago is trying to nurse on me. How do I get it to stop? I've got a baby bottle to give it milk, but I don't have KMR. My legs are all scratched up from the kitten trying to climb them. How can I get her to quit trying to climb me? I do have a scratching post that she is using now that I put some catnip on it..."

Let me know if you find out. Arroura is doing the same (3months). I will be fast asleep and wake-up to her attached to me. Her sister isn’t doing it at all, but she is horrible for it. Prehapps they were weaned to early (my moms thoughts). I just keep a shirt on and close the door when I’m without.
