Dog Dying - Please Help

Monday May 12, 2008
From the VetMed Forum
CATHYGUY writes: "We have a 4-year old German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix named Bear. He will not eat and is losing weight rapidly. He will drink water. When he goes to the bathroom (not often), it is diarrhea. His urination seems normal. He has been to the vet and had all kinds of tests to the tune of $1000 dollars. My opinion is that Bear may have about two weeks left. He is very emaciated. Please help, any advice would be appreciated."

what does your vet say????????????

I had a cat doing the same as your dog, and it was told to me that his vital organs were shutting and the water was to keep his mouth, …it was too much for me to see him suffer ans we sent her to heaven hope u find your answer, but please don’t let bear suffer

You say your vet bills total $1,000…what did that cover? Was there a diagnosis? Seems to me, for that amount of money you should know what is wrong with your dog.

Have your vet made lab tests for intestinals parasites (Feces examination). If Yes then it declared?
If no then rush for that..
