Westminster Dog Show - Day 1

I had to travel through a bit of arctic weather to get here, but I am finally here in New York at the Westminster dog show! I have spent the day meeting lots of dogs and their humans, taking lots of photos, and having an excellent time experiencing the show and New York. Since I am a staff of one, I will be posting the stories and the photos over the next several days. Right now, I am focusing on snapping as many photos and hearing as many stories as possible during this two day show. I will also be writing about the rich history of this show, what a champion dog show is all about, and some of the glossary terms involved in this world of professional dog shows.

The bulk of my day was spent filming an 'ask the vet' video for The Monitor, the Westminster coverage blog for Madison Square Gardens.
