Royal Canin Initiates Voluntary Pet Food Recall

In this press release to their customers, Royal Canin is recalling several of their premium dry dog foods and one cat dry dog food because they contain rice protein concentrate. The company stresses that they have no confirmed cases of illness in pets, but are recalling these products "due to the presence of a melamine derivative."
