How to Trim Your Bird's Nails

Grooming is a necessary part of owning pretty much any pet, and while grooming a bird is certainly less time consuming than grooming other pets, birds are no exception. Aside from regular baths, mistings, and wing clips, owners must pay attention to a part of their bird that is easily overlooked -- their feet. To keep a bird healthy and happy, their claws must be kept at a comfortable length. While trimming a bird's nails can seem stressful and difficult, it's not quite as scary as it sounds when you know what you're doing.
