New Brand of Food Added to Recall - Natural Balance®

Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance® foods announced that they are voluntarily recalling dog and cat foods from a specific manufacturing lot that are being reported as causing vomiting and kidney problems in animals who have consumed the food. The company is working closely with the FDA to determine the cause of the problem and resolve this issue. At this time, no other foods by this manufacturer are reported to be causing problems.

The recalled foods are:

• Dog Food -- Venison & Brown Rice Dry Food
• Cat Foods -- Venison & Green Pea Dry Foods
