Gift Ideas for a Veterinarian

Wednesday April 11, 2007
MOOKIE2002 asks: "Any suggestions for a gift for a vet that treated my dog the last year of his life? She also was the one to put him to sleep. I'd like to get her something besides a thank you card for her gentleness and compassion in handling my precious one. Something heartfelt, but not too expensive as I have two other dogs to care for and vet care/blood work/dental/meds can be expensive. It's tough because I have no idea if she like candy or flowers etc. A vet's opinion would be appreciated if any vets happen to read this."

I’m not a vet (yet =) but some people like to put together gift baskets in case the vet would like to share with her office. If you want it to be more personal, there are lots of graphics at cafepress.com that you can purchase on shirts, mugs, buttons… etc. Here’s a link: http://www.cafepress.com/buy/vets
