Pet Food Recall: Update for Veterinarians

The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) recently released an updated information sheet for veterinarians (PDF format) concerning clinical cases related to the Menu Foods recall. The ACVIM has information for veterinarians regarding the toxin (aminopterin), the clinical signs seen, examination and treatment protocols, and how to submit tissue and food samples for further analysis.
