Tough Anatomy Lesson

Books, photographs, and cadavers are one way to learn anatomy. Studying live models is another way to learn "anatomy in action". Recently, a high school teacher in Utah took a class to a local veterinarian's office to view a live surgery on a dog to study the digestive tract. Was this a helpful way to learn?
