Digging Dog - Burying Toys!

TRM1 asks: "My dog, a recent rescue from a shelter, has developed a habit of burying toys in the back yard. She gets plenty of exercise and attention. We have two dogs, so she doesn't get left alone. My wife thinks its because her previous owners kenneled her most of the day and she is afraid someone will steal her toys. Any suggestions on how to break the habit?"
