Inappropriate urination

Thursday October 28, 2004
SK8RGRL23 asks: "I've had my cat Betty on antibiotics plus a urine acidifier for two weeks now after she was diagnosed with a UTI (Urinary Tract Infecation) and urinary tract crystals. After all this time of pills and cleaning up spots, she is still peeing on the bath mats, kitchen rugs, anything square and fabric. I suppose I should feel fortunate that it's limited to these specific and easily washable products, but it's inconvenient and I like being able to have mats down in strategic places. I am just wondering, shouldn't the medication have taken care of the problem, or is it possible that she still has a UTI, or is this now a bad habit?"
