Gastropexey surgery

5POODLES asks: "My question is this: I would like to know the different procedures of doing a gastropexy surgery? Possible problems with having this procedure done? I have a Standard Poodle (5 years old) who performs in performance dog sports. I found out this fall that one of her litter mates suffered from torsion this past year. I understand a lot of the problem lies in what you do with your dog (feeding, drinking, exercise) I also know that genetics plays a role too."
