Why Are my Neutered Cats Spraying?

The About Cats Guide Franny Syufy answers this question from a concerned pet owner: "I have two cats. A female about 12 years old. A male three years old. When the three year old came into the home, I did notice a problem with the female marking different areas. It wasn't too bad at the time. But now it has got to the point that both cats are doing it everywhere in the home and outside also..."

Even if you cat is fixed, when he is about two, he may get territorial…this can be caused by having other males in the household. We have 9 cats, 3 female, 5 males. They all get along but the 2 yr old male and one of the older ones. I have worked with both, not only to calm them, but figured out some good ways to keep cleaning at a minimum.
